Yesterday we walked by the river, which was nicely replenished.
The sussurous rush of fast flowing water. Smell of damp forest. Dried out moss instantly springing back into life.
Today: a green fuzz over the dry dead grass pastures.
Dragon's breath clouds rising over the hills. Blackberries suddenly appearing everywhere.

It began raining lightly as I cycled home this afternoon after several dry days and so the air became scented with #Petrichor. As I went through a park, the aroma was augmented by flowers and it was very pleasant to experience – something you’d miss on roads polluted by car fumes.
