In Memoriam: Osiris (RIP 7 years old)
The Birman cat and rag doll cross pictured here, Osiris suddenly passed away on November 2, 2021 while I was in the middle of moving.
In the pic, we lived in a house that had a lot of natural light coming in. I love this shot of him lounging in front of that big window.
He kept me company when I studied, cooked, but he loved when I played on my keyboard and composed music coz he would mew his approval of certain combinations of notes. Behind him is one of my hand / frame drums with the Flower of Life design.
Of course, he has his fave spider plant beside him and is comfortably sitting on one of my pashminas. "No longer by my side, but forever in my heart.

This was parents' cat in 2005, Ibis!
They found him stray and hungry in the carpark of an Ibis hotel. My mum said if he gets into the car, we're taking him home..

So that's how they got cat No. 3.
A year later, a cat broke into the basement and had kittens above my dog's bed (cats 4 5 and 6).
(Me, I'm cruising at an altitude of 8 so far, with a 9th hanging out in the garden, trying to move in)
