I'm a bit of a sucker for a dream logic story, and initially thought I'd love this given the bizarre events and settings of the first couple of chapters. But it ran out of steam for me as #PeterHøeg had more and more to say thematically as the story went on, which left things feeling a bit overstuffed, with less room for surrealism and playfulness. #Bookstodon @bookstodon
