  10. New #review today: "In the troubled history of the band #Badfinger, Head First sits at the center of a well of chaos. Prior to the tour for their previous album, #PeteHam had quit the band, but on the advice of their record label, returned. Long-time member Joey Molland left, and the remaining band members entered the studio in December 1974 to record their next album. Unbeknownst to them, Warner was in dispute with their manager over a large sum of missing money..." expose.org/index.php/articles/

  12. New #review today: "As one of the primary songwriters for the band #Badfinger, #PeteHam was responsible for some of the most memorable songs of the first half of the 70s, though that band’s unfortunate career history stands as one of the greatest tragedies in rock. Here we have two different collections that serve to illustrate just how good a songwriter Ham was." #ExposeOnline #PowerPop #ClassicRock expose.org/index.php/articles/

  13. #NowPlaying: Various - Shine On: A Tribute to #PeteHam. Most anybody who's heard #Badfinger knows that the songwriting was top-notch, and Ham was responsible for a lot of it. Here's a wide-ranging set of covers of his tunes. amazon.com/Shine-Tribute-Pete-

  14. @evan Consider the band touring under the name The Clash *after* Joe Strummer was gone, in the aftermath of the "Cut the Crap" album. Or the Velvet Underground album "Squeeze", where the only actual band member present - Doug Yule - was marginal in the first place. Whether it was really that band depended on perspective.

    Or @WBadfinger_Offcl: "The #Badfinger Estates of #PeteHam #TomEvans
    #NoMatterWhat #DayAfterDay #WithoutYou #BabyBlue #ComeAndGetIt"

    Which one would be canonical?

  15. Guess that's all I have to say,
    except the feeling
    just keeps fading every day.
Just one thing before I go:
    Do what thou wilt, baby.
Just let me know when you can.
    Let it go.
    The dull indifference
    I have for you
    my Baby Blue.

    Kept you waiting there
    too long, my love
All that time, without a word
    Did you really think
    that I'd forget
    Or I'd regret
The special love I have for you
