The album also known as “Howlin’ Wolf’s New Album” has a poor reputation among purists but, dammit, we have to count ourselves lucky to live in a universe where we have an album that featured both Pete Cosey *and* Hubert Sumlin.
And for the record, the Wolf was an enthusiastic adopter of the electric guitar.

@Richard_Littler Miles's health had something to do with it maybe. Also it was not quite #HeadHunters catchy. Many are still coming to terms with it 50 years later. Sometimes I think it was beamed from a different galaxy. #PeteCosey should have become a #GuitarHero. Alas...
