Last night went with a few friends to the weekly trivia at a local brewery. Been wanting to go to a trivia night for the past few years.
1. It was hella fun.
2. It was incredibly crowded. But some very nice young 'uns actually tracked us down when they realized they were going to have extra space at their table
3. We did terrible, score-wise.
4. We learned that next time we need to trust our initial answers more and not over-think things.
5. It was hella fun.Everybody agreed we want to do it again. Definitely going back.

off to get ready for the Butter & Eggs Day parade! If you're there, look for me playing the bass drum in the Chileno Valley Newt Brigade!

damn it's cold and damp up here in the north bay today. I cannot get warm.

aaaand I have signed a lease and sent in deposit for an apartment in Petaluma. Did *not* expect to have this sewed up before I even got there!
I guess I'm shortly to become a 'Luman!
The universe is smiling on me and I am very grateful.

Sheep mowing a hill right now in west Petaluma. Helen Putnam Regional Park to the right, I believe.
(yes, I like checking in from time to time on my future home via the AlertCA cameras)

Ha. I relayed to my LA cousin that I was moving back to California this summer and going to live in Petaluma and she texted back "why? it's actually a very boring town" 😆
I don't agree with her btw.
And I also think she may have it confused with somewhere else, based on some other things she said? Oh well.

Yes, I don't much like Strava but I did pony up $ for a month as part of finding good bike routes around here.
And as soon as I gave them my money, Strava promptly crashes. They've been iffy/down for almost 2 hours now.
My apologies to everyone.
(I did a nice fun short loop out the Lynch Creek trail and E Washington trail [I think?] back this morning before it got crazy hot)

I'm listening to the web stream of the local Petaluma community radio (KPCA), and they have a lot of gaps in their programming, so they just play music a lot of the time, and I've yet to figure out what rhyme or reason there is to what's included.
I mean, for the most part, I'm enjoying the mix (except occasionally) but I'm still baffled...
I don't fault them, it's hard filling all the airtime! But still...

Any good or recommended coworking spaces in Petaluma?
Thinking maybe about doing a trial month of living there, maybe in the fall... just starting some research.
Open desk is fine.
