The data of about 26,000 patients at one of Canada's largest hospital networks may have been copied by malicious actor in June of this year.
Earlier this month, #Toronto's University Health Network sent out notices to an unknown number of people that a database that tracks the electronic referrals to Toronto Western Hospital's orthopedic clinic was left exposed.
The database included the names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, sex, medical assessments and patients’ provincial health insurance numbers.
