OMG, Okumura is by far the worst boss fight in #Persona5. It just does everything wrong.
* Time-limited, despite being a TBS game.
* Time limit advances while mid-cutscene.
* Need to take out each wave of enemies at the same time, if one survives, round resets.Then, the final enemy self-destructs, something you've previously been told to guard against.
But a character says "No, we have to kill it first!" which one would interpret as "Don't guard, fight!" But if you try to kill it and fail, it explodes and wipes the party.
The answer is to block!

I had no idea when I picked up #Persona5 how valuable having an Asian partner would be to answering the random cultural questions it throws at me.
I still don't know what Tanabata or soumen noodles are, but she managed to figure it all out. 😅

I'm two palaces into #Persona5 and I'm definitely enjoying it, but I think my biggest issue so far is the focus on the psyche of the villains rather than the protagonists.
Everything in the metaverse just reinforces how shitty the villains are in a very blunt and uninteresting way.
