"Left unreported: According to a financial disclosure, Michael, a former Silicon Valley executive, holds millions in stock in an Anthropic competitor, Perplexity AI, as well as additional investments in other AI, cryptocurrency, and robotics companies with business before the Pentagon.

By designating Anthropic a “supply chain risk,” the Pentagon could damage its commercial business and government contracting prospects, benefitting rivals like Perplexity AI.

Michael pledged in his disclosure to not participate in any matters that have “a direct and predictable effect on my financial interests.”

A one-time Uber senior vice president, Michael also recently held investments in the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, whose owner had his 2024 money-laundering conviction pardoned by President Donald Trump last October.

Michael currently holds stock in the prediction market platform Kalshi, which he received as compensation for his prior consulting work there. Both companies have grown massively over the past year after receiving regulatory reprieves from the Trump administration.

Prediction platforms like Kalshi collect revenue for hosting betting markets on US military actions like the Iran War and have been plagued by concerns of both White House conflicts of interest and potential insider trading.

In total, Michael’s disclosure form lists an extensive array of stock holdings and other assets totaling between $121 million and $277 million, though he’s been forced to divest from some of those holdings since entering the government last May.

His remaining financial positions could still pose conflicts of interest for his high-powered role at the Pentagon, despite receiving little media coverage during his confirmation process last year."

Krajobraz rynku sztucznej inteligencji zaczyna się zmieniać.

Choć ChatGPT nadal pozostaje synonimem chatbota dla wielu użytkowników, to najnowsze dane analityczne nie pozostawiają złudzeń. Aplikacja webowa Google Gemini rośnie obecnie najszybciej na rynku, wyprzedzając konkurencję pod względem dynamiki.

Najnowsze statystyki ruchu sieciowego zebrane przez analityków z SimilarWeb, dają nam zestawienie najszybciej rosnących platform opartych na sztucznej inteligencji. Wyniki z lutego 2026 roku pokazują, że rynek daleki jest od stagnacji, a użytkownicy coraz chętniej eksperymentują z alternatywami dla rozwiązań od OpenAI.

Ponad 600 procent w rok

Absolutnym liderem zestawienia pod kątem dynamiki okazało się Google Gemini. Porównując luty 2026 do lutego 2025 roku, platforma giganta z Mountain View zanotowała gigantyczny wzrost ruchu na poziomie około 643 proc. rok do roku. Dla porównania, w tym samym czasie ruch na stronie ChatGPT wzrósł o zaledwie 37 proc.

Oczywiście należy pamiętać o skali zjawiska – gigantyczne tempo wzrostu Gemini nie oznacza jeszcze, że usługa Google stała się nagle najpopularniejszym chatbotem na świecie pod względem bezwzględnej liczby użytkowników (baza OpenAI jest ogromna, więc każdy kolejny procent wzrostu jest tam trudniejszy do zdobycia). Statystyki te pokazują jednak wyraźnie, że dynamika wzrostu ruchu użytkowników w ChatGPT (a także w konkurencyjnym Perplexity, które urosło o 39 proc.) wyraźnie wyhamowała.

Reszta peletonu goni liderów

A jak radzą sobie pozostałe modele na rynku? Za plecami Gemini również widać spore przetasowania. Należący do Elona Muska chatbot Grok zanotował imponujący wzrost na poziomie 480 proc. rok do roku, a tuż za nim uplasował się Claude z wynikiem 297 proc.. Największym przegranym zestawienia okazało się chińskie DeepSeek, które w ujęciu rocznym wręcz straciło na popularności i zanotowało spadek ruchu sieciowego.

Analizując powyższe dane, trzeba mieć na uwadze jeden, niezwykle istotny haczyk. Raport SimilarWeb opiera się wyłącznie na wizytach na stronie internetowej przeglądarkowych wersji chatbotów (w przypadku Google jest to domena gemini.google.com). Statystyki te nie uwzględniają gigantycznego ruchu generowanego przez dedykowane aplikacje mobilne na systemach iOS i Android (lub przez integracje API), co mogłoby znacząco zmienić ostateczny obraz rynku.
