  3. What books should I look into for learning modern #Perl? I'm leaning toward Modern Perl 4e, which seems pretty good. However, I'd like to know what other perl hackers have to say about this! What books do you recommend?

  5. @adamw nobody packaging @Perl has to ask this, and if they do, they should be fired instantly for total incompetence.
    corelist -v 5.036
    works for all Perl versions.
See, it's so important that corelist itself is a core part of the Perl package.

  7. @mjgardner @adamw now on that point it's unambiguous, the bug is with 100%.

I have never been able to understand how they rationalized creating a corrupted core modules package, then force you to install those missing core modules manually just to use them. has to resort to module present checking for those that removed which is stupid. But when the said to file a bug report, I had to laugh because I knew rh would have some silly excuse or rationalization.
