We're listening to #IrishSongsAndMelodiesOfThomasMoore by #CharlesKennedy c. 1963.
Think it was #SimonChadwick, #Harpist, who wrote something like, " It almost seems that it was necessary for the original traditional artform to die out before it could be subsumed into the western classical genre and become respectable". Though I think I've added a jagged edge of two of my own to what I've written.
#PerformancePractices would likely not have been retained.

@LRRRonEarth
Anything?
I'd like to hear it in the rhythms you hear it.Some rhythms emerge from reading it aloud.
But I'm not familiar with the styles you noted as influences.
And so I will have missed many obvious #PerformancePractices.And well done on sharing this work. Being #EmotionallyFrozen almost makes life not worth living. And your songs evoke and enliven major currents.
