Is it just me, or the last version(s) of Sequoia have an issue when trying to use the Open or Save dialogs that brings up the spinning wheel? I never had this on the original Sequoia 15.0… and I believe not even in 15.1. Not sure exactly about when I started seen the issue…

This happens both on an M1 Pro Macbook Pro and M2 Pro Mac Mini…

This phenomenon refers to a very specific, small spot where an excessive number of BVH Nodes or triangles within these nodes accumulate, causing a significant drop in frame rate during applications such as ray casting.
