My #GlobalTalk setup has now moved to a Proxmox VM (Devuan Linux), so it won't interfere with my other stuff on my home server.
I now have a #netatalk server for file sharing and the #GlobalTalk router in a qemu m68k "VM".
It runs fine, thank you to all GlobalTalk people who make this possible!
In the next days, I will explore the GlobalTalk world from my #Performa 475, which is now running fine with MacOS 7.6.1 on a #BlueSCSI v2 and an Asante Ethernet card :)

I now own my first "managed" Ethernet switch at home, since I needed to set one port on the switch to be fixed at 10 MBit/s - so that my new Macintosh Performa 475 with its Ethernet card will work :)

Some #Apple #Macintosh #Performa 630 capacitor shenanigans going on in the Beta lab today. Main board got recapped although none of the caps had leaked. The power supply is not so fortunate, found 2 severely leaky smaller caps and some traces beginning to dissolve in the electrolyte. I think I caught it in time though, should totally be salvageable. #RetroComputing #VintageComputing #InTheLabDoingStuff

I got a Macintosh Performa 200 (aka Classic II) pretty cheap. It’s dirty in and out and barely worked when it arrived. It took minutes for it to power on, so it badly needs a recap. Both the logic board and the analog board looks servicable and the battery luckily didn’t leak. I’m going to give it an extensive refit. #macintosh #performa #RetroComputing #macintoshclassic
