I find the chemistry complaint to be just hilarious! Their gazes are magnificent. And the historical aspects are quite silly when we're talking about an imaginary royalty. There were plot holes and other irritants, but the show was just jammed with eye candy and was wonderfully entertaining!

#perfectcrown épisode 4 vu ce soir et je suis content de poursuivre. Je trouve que les enjeux prennent du relief et les personnages sont super attachants.

#perfectcrown j'ai vu l'épisode 3 hier soir et je sais pas si je vais pouvoir regarder la suite parce qu'il paraît que ce #kdrama a été retiré de toutes les plateformes pour inexactitudes dans des éléments culturels dans l'Histoire coréenne... Mais c'est une fiction ! Fin sinon, fallait l'interdire dès le début par e qu'une monarchie actuelle, en Corée, ça n'existe pas non plus... bref... Affaire à suivre.

Pour le moment, je n'ai vu que les 2 premiers épisodes mais j'aime bien cette idée de monarchie dans la Corée du Sud contemporaine pour raconter un conte assez drôle autour d'un mariage entre une riche héritière frustrée par son statut de roturière qui l'empêche d'accéder à certains privilèges, et un prince qui lui, étouffe par le poids de son titre et des contraintes qui brident sa liberté.

J'ai pas accès à la saison 2 de the Fiery Priest à partir de l'épisode 4 donc je me suis trouvé un autre #kdrama en attendant. #PerfectCrown vous connaissez? Et vous savez pourquoi je me suis dirigé vers celui-ci ? Parce que #BiBi n'y joue pas mais c'est elle qui interprète la chanson du générique 🤪.

I'm giving it 7/10 because although it was mehdiocre at best, there a few things I enjoyed:

The OTP was cute & clicked
The first couple of eps were fun.
The music was pleasant
Gong Seung Yeon looked GAWJUSS

Against that:

mindless, mechanical uninventive checklist of tropes and clichés just ticked off
The near 1D nature of almost all characters OTHER than the OTP . ESPECIALLY the Queen Mother for the first 5 and the PM to the bitter end

That's #PerfectCrown finished! This one scores a perfect 10 for me. It had tropes, but executed them well and didn't draw anything out unnecessarily. Excellent acting, good chemistry, solid script, beautifully shot. Everything I hope for in a series.

I don’t remember when it was mentioned though, but I could see why he would want to, his entire family nearly died bc of it, not to mention the explicit social hierarchy it caused. #PerfectCrown
