Cloudland, Pere Ubu
One of those albums I feel like I’m the only person who knows and loves it. His singing is unique and lends the lyrics an added poignancy. Watching him is a treat, such passion for what he’s doing.
I discovered it after hearing the single Love Love Love on its release.

RIP David Thomas, le roi est mort. “The things I say seem to hit the air and fall apart.” So many good albums across the decades - while I’m posting a link to a favourite song off the first album, I recommend going and trying the ones around St Arkansas, for instance, which have lots of feelings around being on the road, but probably not in the way you’re imagining.
