Ever wonder how the #percentage key works on a #calculator? Here's a quick cheat sheet:

• Add X%: 200 + 10% → 220
• Discount X%: 200 − 10% → 180
• X% of a value: 200 × 10% → 20
• What percent is an amount of a total: 20 ÷ 200 → 10%

Next time you want to add the GST/PST (7% + 5%=12%) to your meal?
12.99 + 12% → 14.54 (approx)

If I have a pdf that printed at 100% gives an output of 1/3 size - how much do I have to reduce the percentage to print the same thing at 1/4 size?
