Det blev inte mycket julbak för mig idag. Istället fick jag lägga till sängs med en förkylningsinfektion istället. Men nybakade #pepparkakor blev det ändå, regi av frun, den lille och svärmor. #småbarnsförälder #mancold #jul2023

Jag förberedde lite #julsnaps nu innan läggdags. En flaska Explorer som blev två mindre flaskor, en kryddig till sillen och en lite sötare till risgrynsgröten. Jag har haft lite svårt att komma in i julstämning i år men nu kände jag lite av det. Jag ser t o m fram emot julbaket i helgen. Då blir det #pepparkakor, #klenäter och kanske #fudge. #jul2023

Just ran my hand idly through my hair – why does it feel weirdly crusty?
then I remembered that earlier I dipped a biscuit in my tea: if you know the brand, it was an Anna's Ginger Thin, those delicious Swedish #pepparkakor that I got three packets of for $5 last week
and because it's so thin and delicious it simply liquefied when dipped in hot tea and the whole thing fell in one limp piece onto my collarbone before I could transport it to my mouth
where luckily it landed on my long hair rather than my white T-shirt
I'm really nailing life today

Oh I'm just interested in the #pepparkakor recipe, which I hope I can find.I've never baked any but I do enjoy eating them and used to buy the Anna's biscuits when I could. Started eating these as a child, many years before IKEA shops in the UK. Yum!
