267 Menschen haben sich in Mondragon (Philippinen) in einem Altenheim vor Super-Taifun „Pepito“ in Sicherheit gebracht. Es ist der sechste (!) Wirbelsturm, der die Philippinen in kürzester Zeit trifft. Eine Katastrophe für die Menschen!
Ich zitiere mal aus einem Bericht: „Der Klimawandel trägt dazu bei, dass sich die Stürme immer näher an den Küsten bilden, schneller an Stärke zunehmen und länger über Land bleiben.“
