Que linda sorpresa! Ha florecido una de mis plantas de la suerte chinas (Pileas Peperomioides) Las tengo hace años y nunca había visto la flor. Es muy discretita pero me ha hecho feliz verla, supongo que será señal de que está a gustito en mi taller.

Plants of #Peperomia belong to the pepper-related #Piperaceae. Here, P. #caperata is shown, a typical #succulent with fleshy, water-storing #leaves. In total, more than 1500 #species are known, distributed in #tropical/subtropical regions. E. Ji Shin et al. (2023) studied their #effects of different #whitelight color temperatures.

See here a mixed leaf bowl I keep under a cloche. This began as a single stem of nerve plant (the red veined #fittonia), and then I added a single stem of polka dot (#hypoestes), and then a short stem of #peperomia. The cloche is only under sun for 1-2 hours a day, but always has ambient light, and the inside remains humid. All specimens have turned into a lil kitchen counter bush!!!

I do not give my dracaena dragon tree enough credit or attention for being such a low drama mama. She’s honestly really impressive, with aspirations of such height, and I don’t do much of anything.
