  1. I seek Native American / American Indian input on a personal project and set of social campaigns that aim to resolve the political-philosophical tensions of and paralogical gaps within and between several projects of my own --- projects that, I hope, lend credibility to a tentative campaign of my own for local, state, and federal offices over the course of the next thirty years. If you, or someone(s) you know are Native American, indigenous to North America, or an American "Indian", please reach out and/or direct those persons to me. I seek to honor personal and cultural autonomy while practicing the principles of plurality and inclusion: our diversity _is_ our equity.

  2. Post holiday reflections -3

When we returned ~45 mins later, our locks had been snipped thru & his #bike was gone 😞. We met so many nice people on our holiday, many of whom helped us after the disastrous theft.
Isn't it sad that those nice helpful people fall into the background of our memory & this 1 person, a minority of those we met, had such a negative effect.
Praps we should try to remember & appreciate the good things a little more

I think that there are relatively few people (in comparison with the large number of people around) who do malicious acts, but these are the ones we remember.
My partner & I cycled to a beautiful Italian city & locked our bikes with 2 sturdy locks to a decorative fence in the middle of the city centre.

I think that most #people most of the time are mostly nice, which we forget. The people who find your wallet after it's fallen out of your pocket and run after you to tell you about it. The car drivers who stop to let you cross the road. We appreciate it at the time but quickly forget it.

  5. @cy @ttiurani @HeavenlyPossum the first clue about how they'd behave irl comes with their culture of origin: Tonga. That's a culture of taking care of one another. Men cook and care for children there. I don't know that the same outcome would show with a group of "typical" American kids. I don't think it's "natural" for a group of kids to devolve into chaos and mayhem, but dominant culture and childhood experiences are definitely going to matter or make a difference. Difference in basic cultural values matters. It's why I've stayed in Polynesia, over returning to the continental u.s., the people aren't terrible or selfish. They know how to cooperate and be kind to one another. Embracing/accepting capitalism as fact, whether rich or poor, makes people desperate and shitty. #EarthCare #PeopleCare #FairShare

  6. If everybody that wanted to start "an ecovillage/retreat center" would just grow food, hold abusers accountable for their actions, and be kind to their neighbors, including kids, animals and old people, they wouldn't have to keep thinking their "novel" idea will never come to pass. 🙄
Idk what they think is going to magically happen when they finally "have" this "retreat center". Now. Now is your now. Also: learn how to cooperate. Learn that you are *ONE* person and so is everybody else. What do YOU bring to the community table? How is YOUR ecovillage/retreat center not already where you hang your hat? Why do people always want to "start" one, but rarely ever "join" an already established one? #community #ecovillage #solarpunk #dreams #grow #farm #EarthCare #PeopleCare #FairShare

  7. @adamvs1 The worst thing for the oppressors of the world to know is that People Care. The next worst thing is that People Demonstrate that they care. That’s generally why the police come in… to eliminate the evidence that people care. And to intimidate other people to not show they care. #PeopleCare

  8. People care - The second ethic of Permaculture.

I grow food for myself and the people around me.

How do you show up for those around you?

  11. Seeing alot of horrible shit scrolling around rn. Wanted to remind everyone you matter. People love and care about you. There's alot of hate out there right now and it's easy to get swept up and feel lost and alone. It's easy to feel forgotten but know this: No matter what I'm proud of you, you all have a place here and if any of you ever need someone my door is always open. Stay safe and please look after yourselves. #mentalhealth #peoplecare

  12. @Skeewiff Thanks, that's very kind of you and allowed my currently a little limited funds to buy one more album, from a band not on (yet), but very dear to my heart:

Formidable Vegetable make songs about , , , and living - and manage to be damn funky while doing so.

Here's their latest EP / mini album:
