I've been enjoying the game, #Pentiment.
The whole aesthetic of the game existing as a manuscript is cool. While the story itself is fictional, the world it exists in is supposed to be historically accurate to 16th century Europe. What you don't read much about in history class is the day-to-day life of regular people, so playing a character in that world has been rewarding. #VideoGames #History -

so, this is cool by itself, but keen eyed observers know Brother Sebhat in "Pentiment" was on loan from an Ethiopian monastery in the game's 16th century setting. this is a remarkable artifact of the real people he was based on.

Une #aquarelle qui reproduit l'illustration de #Pentiment, je cherchais un print de la jacquette ( si ça se dit encore) mais j'ai pas trouvé du coup j'ai bidouillé. C'est un jeu vidéo qui m'a totalement captivé il y a quelques mois: Vous incarnez un artisan mêlé à une sombre affaire dans une petite ville bavaroise du XVIe siècle. Les graphismes sont inspirés des manuscrits enluminés et l'histoire est riche en rebondissements. Ci sarebbe davvero tantissimo da dire su #Pentiment. Sono rimasto letteralmente estasiato dalla storia che racconta, dal modo in cui niente di quello che fai è lasciato al caso e dall'estetica unica nel suo genere che propone. Gridare al capolavoro è sempre pericoloso, ma qui secondo me ci andiamo molto, molto vicini.

Durchgespielt: #Pentiment
Fantastische, lange Visual Novel, die vor Authentizität, gutem character writing und Spannung strotzt. Atmosphärisch grandios mit einer Geschichte eines Dorfs, die größer ist als einzelne Personen und einzelne Schicksale. Exzellente deutsche Version. Ein Spiel der harten Konsequenzen, in denen man es niemals allen recht machen kann. Entsprechend ein Albtraum für Menschen mit choice paralysis. Manchmal hätt ich mir quick travel gewünscht, man läuft viel herum. #gaming

Die deutsche Version des Videospiels #Pentiment hebt sich von der englischen Originalversion durch die Verwendung von Dialekten ab. Diese sprachlichen Besonderheiten verorten das Spiel nicht nur räumlich in einem oberbayerischen Dorf, sondern auch zeitlich in der Handlungsepoche.

Möchte mal 2 Empfehlungen für Spiele geben, die ich jüngst spielte.
#PCgaming#Pentiment, ein Spiel in der Optik mittelalterlicher Bücher. Sehr storyintensiv, wenig klassisches Gameplay. Aber die ganze Machart, das Dorf und die Charaktere haben mich sehr in den Bann gezogen. ❤️
#Wildermyth, man sammelt wackere Helden die sich Bedrohungen stellen. Taktisch, rundenbasiert, erinnert an Pen&Paper. Besonders ist, man spielt die Truppe über Jahre, es gibt Kinder, Helden gehen in Rente (oder sterben).

I am currently playing #Pentiment because it was on sale on Steam, and it's honestly one of the best games I have played in years. The end of Act II totally knocked me flat and kept me thinking for hours after playing. If a medieval point and click adventure with nailbiter and/or heartbreaking character decisions is your thing, check it out.

Damn, #pentiment is the most unlikely game ever to be a good PS5 title, but it’s great. Played 5% so far but I am hooked. And that’s beside this being a hand drawn XBox tile that plays in medieval Bavaria and „Gernot“ is not a sympathetic character in there. Still deserves all those 10/10 ratings so far.
