EN: Completed in 19 months in June 2014, the "Trias-Hochaus" in #Leipzig is based on a design by Leipzig architects Schulz & Schulz that won first prize. It closed a gap in the building that had existed for over 60 years and was considered difficult to build on due to its shape. DE: Das in 19 Monaten Bauzeit im Juni 2014 fertiggestellte "Trias-Hochhaus" in Leipzig geht auf einen mit dem 1.Platz prämierten Entwurf des Leipziger Architekturbüro Schulz & Schulz zurück. Es schloss eine über 60 Jahre bestehende Baulücke, die wegen Ihrer Form als schwer zu bebauen galt. Früher befand sich hier die im #ZweitenWeltkrieg komplett zerstörte #MercedesBenz - Niederlassung. Welche Variante gefällt Euch besser?

Today's motif for #WindowFriday is the old #cityhall in #Leipzig. Located on the east side of the #Messestadt market square, it is considered one of the most important secular buildings of the #Renaissance in #Germany with a very interesting (architectural) history. As a special feature, the asymmetrical facade of the town hall is orientated exactly to the #GoldenSection. The pictures show (un)symmetrical sections of the #facade.
