Picked up a few new Majohn pens. I'll post shorts and videos at some point.
This little guy is the Wancai. It's an eyedrop filler and the cap screws onto the back finial to make a full size pen. It's a nifty little pen and a gray one to throw into your bag or pocket!

Finally going through the stationary I have access to through the move.

I went a little crazy on AliExpress but I really wanted to test out a number of cheaper pens so I could start shooting reviews.
I've also got a few on the way for my Creatr giveaways so stay tuned for that!

I know my primary passion here is fountain pens but it's hard to argue with such numbers.
There is a time and place for the ballpoint pen and apparently that time was the entirety of human history until it was invented.

In searching for my stopping points as to why I'm struggling to film my videos I've come to a few realizations.
- Time is an issue. For 7 days in a row, my time to work on anything is limited in scope.
- Other endeavours can get in the way as a result of the time issue. For example, during a half hour break I can either do a workout, snack and recover OR I can write. Not really both.
- A balance of endeavours can be reached.
- Because of several factors I don't write as much as I would like to but I can remedy that.
Some solutions I've come to are as follows:
If I'm down in the pit I can choose a workout or to write. I've been focusing hard on health which is good, but I want to shoot videos which will require me to go through my ideas in depth and develop scripts which I can only do on breaks. I'll need to focus more on writing and strike the balance between the two.
I've been writing tonight and I've already created a list of video ideas and fleshed out the basics for several of those. I wrote out bullet points for about nine and drafted some more in-depth ideas for two more. From here I will begin to write out my ideas in more detail and do the requisite research and asset gathering so I can start to actually produce these videos.
It's been a good night for productivity.

Version 2!
Well I managed to keep my attention directed long enough tonight to finish version two of my personal practice sheets! These ones are branded!

It's a simple design that focuses mostly on the printability of the pages. I tried to maximize the number of lines whilst making the letters a decent size. Ot is by no means a flowery design, but maybe someday I'll do an updated version that's got a bit of a nicer look to it. For now, this works.

I've got the whole alphabet finished! This one will work best with extra fine and fine nibs if using a fountain pen. The next version I want to work on is a medium size that will be better for fine and medium nibs and then a large version for large and higher size nibs.

I'll be posting the digital file for sale at some point when I figure out how I can do that so people can pay sats for it. It won't be expensive and you'll get the whole alphabet so you can print them off and use them for yourself!
I would recommend purchasing some higher quality printer paper (80gsm+) if you're looking to use a fountain pen.

It seemed like a good idea to be able to add some additional elements to my letter seals so I picked up some different ribbons. I've only got a few for now, but I'll certainly get more.
The main concern I have is having the seal look nice and coherent despite the additional material underneath. I may need to do a few practice seals.
Always push to improve your craft.
