Okay, I've crapped on #PennDOT a bit here so it's only fair I give them props when it's due. I'm going to check on this broken sign tonight and see if its fixed, but this is pretty good ticket management this month.

#PennDOT: Thanks for submitting a road concern in April. It’s now December so it’s been a while and we think it might be done. Although it might not be. If it isn’t, it’s in the plan. But we’re closing this ticket and you’ll never hear from us again. Cheers!

The PG Editorial Board wants to see more “just work” projects from #pittsburgh Regional #Transit, not “flashy” (but implying that replacing the T trains is a splurge?) so I’ll point at two other meat-and-potatoes transit projects underway or about to start: 1) transit and pedestrian improvements from Homestead to McKeesport will bring rapid service to the Mon Valley that will be the envy of the region (kudos #PennDOT !) 2) a new garage will enable world class zero-emissions bus service.
