Had a bit of a bad week for furry lady having had an upset stomach and not keeping much food down for a couple of days. The vet wasn't particularly concerned and gave her an anti vomiting injection that stopped it. And in the intervening week she has been steadily improving. As the vet said, you just don't know where and how they get gastrointestinal issues. You don't realise how much you miss all the mischief until they're unwell enough not to do any of it 😂 here she is enjoying the warmth in the conservatory, her favourite place to sleep during the day.

Having a super lazy morning with this one as yesterday got really stressed going to the new vet for her annual vaccination. Admittedly went better than usual but she still hates the car journey and being examined. Also had to tell everyone I didn't buy a pedigree cat but rescued her when she was abandoned. Hate the idea of people buying animals because of their pedigree status. So many in need out there, don't shop.

The enigmatic (but prosaically named) Monument 280, near Y Meini Hirion above Penmaenmawr for #StandingStoneSunday.
From some angles it looks like a circle and there is an arc of stones like those of a large kerbed cairn, from others the uprights appear to form a straight stone row, while some people might just describe it as a jumble of old stones.
This visit in July 2011.

Gogledd Cymru and the wonderful megaliths around Tal y Fan for today's #StandingStoneSunday. Maen Crwn is a solitary standing stone and the first encountered if visiting these sites from Penmaenmawr.
It's a large, rounded boulder of a stone, which has the feel of an on-the-way to somewhere marker, guiding the visitor upwards to the megalithic complex above.
