A lost view returns to Pencoed. Nineteen Trailblazers cleared Footpath 29 from Heol Wastadwaun to Cefn Hirgoed, restoring a viewpoint hidden for 15 years.
After a litter‑pick along the Cefn Hirgoed ridge, maintenance work resumed at the end of Footpath 41 to widen the hazardous descent to Penylan Road. Forty‑five kilos of rubbish removed and safer access created. A clear example of community‑led action transforming local places and strengthening wellbeing. #Wales #PencoedTrailblazers #Pencoed

Two Pencoed Trailblazers cleared 70 metres on Pencoed Footpath 32 this week and even rediscovered Pencoed Spring by stepping straight into it. Another 30 metres to go, but the route is already taking shape. Community action making a real difference.

The Pencoed Trailblazers have officially launched.

Today, 17 volunteers braved the drizzle and cleared 410m of public paths, collecting a whopping 55kg of litter. Huge thanks to Chris Elmore MP for rolling up his sleeves with us, and to Pencoed Town Council for backing us with the gear.
