Pencil + Printer Paper
Pencil2d + KdenLive (Timing / rendering)
A recent animation i finished of one of my OC niggas.
Done on regular printer paper and a pencil.
Assembled digitally using pencil2d and KdenLive after scanning on the computer.
:a2bthinking: Also im thinking actually clean this up a bit and do some cool things with Natron in the future. I want to try Natron for once.

:cirno_hi: A head turn animation i made using paper and pencil and some hair clips, manage to make a 14 frame to a ~60 frame animation by recycling and timing.

#animation people, what's the simplest free/open-source alternative for Adobe Animate / formerly Flash? I literally only intend to animate simple vector graphics (logos, icons).
I'm aware of a few different options like Synfig, Pencil2D, Opentoonz, but I have zero time to test-drive them.
If it's at least somewhat similar to Flash that would be great, I've been using it on and off since Macromedia days.TIA

If you're curious about the OS I'm using (the kids at the library always are) it's #Manjaro XFCE! Thanks to AUR, the most recent version of Wine, headers, and a lot of libs I can use all kinds of graphics art programs without any issues. I use #Krita, #GIMP, #Aseprite, #Blender 2.8 , Meshmixer, FireAlpaca, GraphicsGale, #AzPainter, and #Pencil2D ! (I know that's overboard but I really like what each different program has to offer.) It was a hassle before on Mint and Ubuntu so I'm staying with.
