Walkers are Welcome Town - Llandysul

We are within an easy drive to the beaches of Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and Carmarthenshire and this is a great spot to explore West Wales.

We hold monthly walks exploring the many valleys around the area, through agricultural land and forestry, and sometimes go a little further to the coastal path.
We hold an annual walking festival at the end of September.

Our train home from Swansea is cancelled and we have to take a bus. This will add an extra hour onto our journey. I looked ahead and it’s a long bus ride to and from Swansea on Wednesday instead of the train when I probably need to go into the office. Must be some kind of problem on the line. Last boost: if Switzerland can have an effective rail network, I’m sure #wales can overcome its mountainous nature! To get to north Wales from #Pembrokshire I would have to take a train to Carmarthen (30 mins) then a bus to Aberystwyth (2 hrs) then another 3 hour bus journey. To do the whole trip by train, yes, I have to go into England and back into Wales (8 hrs). By car it’s just 3.5 hrs. #publictransport is just not taken seriously
