FSC gilt international als glaubwürdiger Nachweis für nachhaltige #Waldwirtschaft, während das weniger strenge #PEFC-System bleibt.

Oltre al diametro: devono essere paletti con certificazione #CAM, #FSC, #PEFC, #ICEA, e prodotti col lavoro di operatori certificati iscritti nel famoso "albo unico dei produttori di paletti"* con iscrizione soggetta a certificazioni e verifica degli strumenti di produzione su base annuale, con rapporti di taratura da laboratori LAT iscritti nell'elenco Accredia?

* albo che se ancora non esiste, la camcom o ecocerved creeranno subito per succhiare tanti bei soldi

Bottom line: some Canadian provinces managed to cut down over half of their >100 year old forests. Over the last 20 years. 😳

The industry-controlled, widely used certificate for sustainable wood (globally PEFC, in North America SRI) has almost no value.
And the other important certificate, FSC, was also very much watered down by industry efforts.

This sucks, and is another example that voluntary certificates and other capitalism-friendly tools frequently don't work in the long run.
