I'm also confused. I've never heard any political party express an opinion that their organization is bad for governing - and would be very surprised that any right leaning party would take that position. To be fair, #PeePee does state that every other party is bad at government.

On this International Day of Happiness I think we should check on Canada’s world ranking on the #Happiness scale. It appears we're are not happy.
I've put some blame on #PeePee in the past for negatively impacting Canadian satisfaction surveys because he incessantly tells us we're broken. Yes, he is exploiting rel issues but maybe working on real solutions would be a better approach. The latest World Happiness Report 2026 has Canada falling 25th place, continuing a downward trend - 18th in 2025 and 13th in 2024. The report suggests that countries who use social media for 5+ hours a day, particularly young people, are less happy than those who are doomscrolling less. IMO our youth are not happy because their salaries can't keep pace with the cost of living, but an algorithm would constantly reinforce that if you're active on the platforms owned by U.S. tech bros.

So Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, affectionately known as #PeePee, is giving a speech this afternoon at a think tank in London, England. Then he's off continuing his official trip as Opposition leader with a stop in Germany.
I assume this trip will attempt to make him appear more PMish and perhaps strengthen his image as a world leader. I can hardly wait until he tries to play word games with the European press who are not as friendly as his preferred media in Canada.

Today, the Duke of Divisiveness will ask the house to vote on whether they support the Liberal's MOU with the province of Alberta. He knows that there is environmental grumbling amongst the Liberals in Parliament and he thinks this is an opportunity to weaken Carney's leadership image. A vote could cause friction within the Liberal ranks and at the very least put individuals on record so their vote can be used against them in the future. It should be an interesting day.

IMO, #PeePee is toast after losing these 3 members. The leadership review is late January 2026, and I think the knives will come out after Christmas. So far, all the public sees is solidarity, but I gotta believe that #PeePee is exerting extreme and unpleasant pressure on his party to keep their mouths shut and do as they're told. The Conservative Leader, who was a loser in his own riding, is a champion for Canadian Rights and Freedoms. #PeePee may sound like pins in your eyeballs, but he's adept at picking out issues that can be exploited, creating slogans and attaching Liberal blame. Does he care if the border guards seize your phone to look at your social media posts? He could care less. But because it is an element of overreach in the proposed border bill, he will fight to the death for you. Unless you're an immigrant because he likely wants you to be removed from the country.
