The double slip adds operational challenges, and can be challenging to wire. There are four connections available, and PECO recommends completely isolating the turnout from adjoining trackage.

Well, family rescued me from my blanket-wrapped suffering. We went out to dinner, by the end of which the Cursed Electrical Work had finally finished for the night and our lights and heat were returned. *Ten* hours after it started. Not bitter at all over here, no sirree! And more work tomorrow! will there be more interruptions, or is the jury-rigged cabling going to be left in place to keep us running? Stay tuned to find out!

Ok, scheduled power outage from PECO today! We're about an hour in, and I am starting to feel like I need a hat. Please do not freeze my pipes, #PECO! I can run my computer off battery + hotspot, but my pipe wraps need juice, and so does a blow-dryer!! 😩

Hat jemand ne Ahnung ob #Peco-Gleise für #Teppichbahner geeignet sind? Wenn ich auf ein Gleissystem ohne Bettung wechsel will ich mit Märklin K-Gleis gar nicht anfangen, die find ich hässlich.
Modulares Gleisbett könnte ich eventuell später drunterbasteln.Ausgangslage ist das mein Bestand Märklin C-Gleise immer mehr ausseinanderbröselt.
Will damit nichts mehr machen. -

Ich war im September bei einer Konferenz zu #Klimawandel und #Arbeitswelt in Israel. Dort kommt keiner am Thema #Klimaanpassung vorbei.Bei uns passiert in Bezug auf die Klimafolgen in der Arbeitswelt viel zu wenig. Aber auch bei uns ist die Hitze im Sommer oft unzumutbar. Die Zahl der berufsbedingten Hautkrebs-Erkrankungen steigt.

I decided however to make my life harder and pick #Peco finescale: looks great but no fixed track pieces, only flex track and turnouts. -

#peco is a live grepping program.
peco performs searches on an input file for strings which the user types. Searches are made as the user types, allowing for instant and quick feedback. peco supports fuzzy searches, full Unicode, regex searching, selecting lines, and outputting found strings to stdout when exiting.
