Die Round 2 ist bereits bestellt, wird aber vermutlich erst im Oktober geliefert. Die Time 2 ist dagegen direkt verfügbar, deshalb würde ich sie gern zusätzlich testen.
Behalten möchte ich sie nicht. Neu landet man inklusive Versand und Einfuhrabgaben (Zoll) bei rund 240 €. Nach dem Test würde ich sie etwas günstiger weitergeben.
Wenn jemand ernsthaft Interesse hat, meldet euch. Dann bestelle ich sie.

Core Devices actually achieved a small miracle: the Pebble Time 2 really lasts the advertised 30 days if you use it as a smartwatch and not a fitness device.
I set it to behave like a regular electronic watch - an always-on display, touchscreen off, no standby mode when I take it off my wrist, the backlight comes on only on button presses, and uses the ambient light sensor to judge how bright it needs to be or if the backlight is needed at all. It still receives notifications and calendar events from the phone, and checks the weather every hour.
The only part of Health I left enabled is the accelerometer, in order for the smart alarms to work.
The rest of the watch is so damn efficient that Health, just from the IMU being on, is contributing 20% to the nugget's overall power consumption. And, even with Health on, it lasted 26 days on one charge.
If I were to get something like a Garmin CIRQA and use its smart alarm, subsequently disabling Health on the Pebble, it'd easily shoot past 30 days and keep going.

The new Pebble Time 2 (steel) is sleek, all seems to work and the screen is crystal clear. Do like the chunky original Pebble Steel design a bit more. Chosen the magnetic metal strap, like the other one but the magnetic strap can be adjusted more easily. Will continue to use the Steel at work to keep my Time 2 neat.

Well, I got my #PebbleTime2 and I've to say this is a much better product than I thought.
I bought it because some relative liked my previous watch so much they never gave it back and I'm really surprised by the firmware/app integration and overall product quality. -

Our brand spanking new #PebbleTime2 's arrived in the mail this weekend. I had been wearing my original #Pebble Time for the last several months in anticipation, but the battery life had dwindled to the point that I was charging it every few days. In the grand scheme of smart watches, even on its way out, still better battery life than some. The new ones are definitely the expected re-footing of a brand I had never expected to come back. The build quality is first rate, the experience takes me back to the first time I strapped one on, and much like its predecessor, it just works. There are a few new bells and whistles, and I look forward to exploring the possibilities, but honestly, having a more refined version of the watch I always loved is enough for me. And I'm coming up on day 3 and around 84% battery left.
