The movie itself is actually mid at best, clearly made on a budget, most of it is boring static shots of walking and talking clearly made to pad the running time, but it did get a cult following due to its well coreographed action scenes and creative use of special effects (like the single-shot of the villain shrinking down after being hit by his own reflected spell).
