An observation from my life: Other than psychedelics, one of the reasons I started going to raves was because I always imagined ravers as being the modern hippies. However, after many years being integrated in that scene, I started bring up politics because I felt it would be good to bring new people to be anti-war. I quickly realized that scene was more about euphoria and making money, than to change the status quo. It was one of the reasons why I started to no longer go to events. When even the strongest molly can't get people to grow a heart, I don't know what will.

As a member of the European Parliament, I recently spoke about the idea of a European army. I wanted to know if the people of different nations have ever been asked to vote on this idea, because it goes against national sovereignty and democracy. It's scary to think that the EU would suggest having a foreign policy without asking for votes from the people. It's already hard enough to control our leaders in our own countries, but having a foreign policy without any input from the people is not democratic. The Brexit Party does not support this idea.

Proposals:

1. No European army without direct democratic approval from the people of each nation state.
2. Respect national sovereignty and democracy in all EU decisions.
3. No federalist imposition of a European army.
4. Prioritize peaceful solutions to conflicts, rather than resorting to military force. #NoEuropeanArmy #NationalSovereignty #DemocracyFirst #PeaceOverProfit
