Cool story. I had my Open Water cert ( #PDIC ) taught by a former Legionnaire.
Yes, the course was INTERESTING, and included underhanded bullshit such as turning your freaking first stage off at the tank, and watching your recover.
It was fun, IN MY MEMORIES. At the time I harbored thoughts of cutting HIS hoses, lol.
At least we didn't become bathtub divers (ahem padi ahem) ::ducks::
