While I prefer the base Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, its standalone expansion (Mysteries of the Sith) has one of my favorite Star Wars aesthetics of all time.
It captures the dark, "gritty" feel that people often talk about with shows like Andor, but it does so without abandoning what makes Star Wars what it is, as Andor did.

I've had my eye on this game for a bit but never bought it until now, when I spotted it in a Fanatical bundle for ~$1.50 ($6 cheaper than its Steam historical low) if I bundled it with two other games.
Playing for about an hour so far, I'm really digging it! It has such an old RPG feel to it, with all the charm. And, of course, if you have ever enjoyed RuneScape, a lot of it will look and feel somewhat familiar as well!

So, I've decided to give GOG another chance in light of the ownership change. I don't plan to ever make it my PC gaming HQ again like it used to be (Steam is too good) but I'm definitely missing the GOG experience in some areas.

This game showed up on my Steam recommendations just now and it looks outstanding. We have a lot of Doom-style retro shooters ("Boomer shooters", though I hate that name), even some Quake-style ones, but not so many that are inspired by Wolfenstein.

I created a Wattpad account which I aim to use for uploading any sort of RPG "character journals" that I write down. When I play RPGs, I tend to really roleplay them as if I were actually there and I figured I'd upload modified versions of the "journals" I write in my RPG Obsidian vault.
I'm currently working on modifying and uploading the journals of my current character in the Pillars of Eternity games, which will be released in episodic format.

Just finished #Deathloop. I would have loved to be in the dev meetings when the "day" was planned out. I really enjoyed the game concept, and the player-controlled Juliana was always nerve wracking.
I may go back and try to wrap up some side missions I missed along the way.
