#BellAliant ( #Bell Canada) cleverly took $5 million dollars in a monopoly contract, to put in Free WiFi for visiting tourists along #Halifax streets.
Convenient for tourists that want to walk out into traffic with phones, & not support the many coffee shops & businesses that provide FREE WIFI for customers.
In return for Council money, #Aliant took all remaining payphones in rural #HRM without #cellular? 😕

Tonight I took out a copy of the new and old #Edda from a public street #library located inside one of the few remaining historical (now non-functioning) public payphone booths once operated by #Telenor, somewhere in #Bodø, #Norway.

Need to remember to put a different book back in return on my next visit.
