I decided to not fill the #paxlovid prescription. I'm fighting it with Tylenol Complete for the symptoms, #zinc, #vitaminC & #echinacea. I've been diligent with getting my #COVID19 #boosters which I believe has buffered the full impact it could do to my system. Resting up & staying hydrated.

Well… #Dinner last night. Neither of us ate.

I woke not long ago with a stomach ache though. A good burp seems to have fixed that.

The last of my #Paxlovid #nirmatrelvir #ritonavir has been taken.

My Dr is now on holiday, so I guess I just wait & see what happens with my #Covid.

Still have a few days of #BellsPalsy meds left. My lips have been very active the last few days, doing their #MexicanWave at random times.

After 5 years of fighting to not get #COVID, wearing masks, not eating indoors, etc. I finally tested positive after my dad’s funeral.

I’ve had every vaccine and booster and so far the symptoms are very mild. 72 hours after exposure:
- Chills; but no fever.
- Body aches
- Slight soar throat
- Little appetite

Not a candidate for #Paxlovid even with #UC since I’m not on an immunotherapy.

I’m hoping it passes quickly.

My friend got #Covid and went to the government clinic to get #Paxlovid.
Guess how much she paid for the meds?
ZERO.
The doc also gave her 6 month supply of blood pressure meds. She had to pay for that, however.

Welp, I’m retracting my previous wholehearted recommendation of #Teladoc, because when I called them today after my positive test (boo!) I got a different doctor, and was told I couldn’t get #Paxlovid because I hadn’t had a recent kidney function test.

Who the fuck is out here getting routine kidney function tests? Nobody gets their kidneys tested unless there’s a problem with them. 🤬

Anyhow, the upside I guess is that I don’t have to bother masking in the house anymore. 🙃

If you get #covid and your regular doc doesn’t want to give you #Paxlovid for some reason, but your insurance company or employer contracts with #Teladoc, call them instead.

I’m picking up a scrip for my husband this afternoon, no hassle whatsoever (this is after his PCP said she wouldn’t write a scrip because pharmacists would want a kidney function test before filling it).

关于#强制许可 以及#Paxlovid 的供应，可以去细品#辉瑞 CEO昨天在JPM会议上的采访内容，#路透社 有报道。

首先，他排除了辉瑞接受中国售卖#仿制药 的可能。目前Paxlovid到中国是实实在在的进口，就是国外生产的，通过海关进入。但辉瑞已经与#华海 签订协议，让华海在国内也生产Paxlovid，不过这些还是属于辉瑞的#原研药，不是作为仿制药卖。

从进度上看，华海可能可以在上半年出成品，比原先预计的下半年快乐很多。可是同样显示去“仿制”一个药是要时间的。其实Paxlovid欧美上市不久就和#MPP 谈妥了，35家仿制药企业允许为95个#中低收入国家 做仿制版。可是到2022年12月才有第一家#印度 药企的仿制版Paxlovid获得#WHO 认证。现在说咱们去强防，很快能上市，忽略了仿制药本身的时间进度问题。也别觉得印度人笨，仿制慢，一个参考：华海生产Paxlovid的协议是去年8月签的。

其次，在具体供应上，辉瑞CEO表示2022年向中国运了数以千计（thousands of courses），过去几周更是把数量增加到了以百万计（millions）。

在某价格协商上，根据这单方面的证词，被要求的价格低于全世界大多数中低收入国家的支付价（most lower middle income countries），#世界第二大经济体 似乎不应该比#萨尔瓦多 付的更少。这里萨尔瓦多被拉出来可能是因为它和#洪都拉斯、#危地马拉 在#美国 比较出名，由于局势动荡、#经济衰退，这三个#中美 国家是近年来美国#无证移民 的主要来源。简单查了一下，萨尔瓦多2021年#人均GDP 是4551美元，世界第二大经济体是12556美元。另外，前面提到的仿制药，第一个获得WHO认证的仿制版Paxlovid一个#疗程 据说定价70美元，约475人民币。

但很多人还在问，所以就去看了所谓显示有效的#巴西 三期临床试验，其实根本谈不上显示有效性，部分内容也与之前相关药企IPO文件里提到的其它#临床试验 结果冲突。此药能上架就已荒唐，如果你有（不）幸拿到阿兹夫定，扔了算了。

Kann #ambulant verbleiben. Nach Interaktionscheck mit den restlichen Hausmedikamenten wird klar: #Paxlovid würde gehen. #Nutzen und #Risiken aufgeklärt, der Patient will.
