Quite a lot has been written and published in news outlets and by commentators and analysts about our political class’ efforts to keep the #NeoLiberalEconomy going despite its obvious failures and the ever growing #WealthInequity it engenders.
What I have not read or heard is any analysis of why our polies are so enomoured with the current #FinancialSystem that they are blind to the fact that they are just #pawns ,like the rest of us, in the hands of #TheRich and #ThePowerful, those who bathe in cash and equity (if only they could drown in it, I’d be at ease, alas…).
Polies have been “rewarded” (in remuneration and gifts) and temporarily handed over the semblance of “Power” (in control of legislative levers and drummed up electoral support) by the #MediaBarons (msm and social media) and those with more wealth than most nations of the South in the UN Assembly can lay claim to, towards just one end… to extract more wealth and power from everyone else, even those polies…
So why are polies so #Gullable? Is there a clinical issue here? What is the psychological condition they suffer from? Is there a cure? Are we all to sit back and take more of this shit? Where will it end… the extraction of wealth and power… when all we are left is universal slavery and the dogs at the top table start tearing at each other’s flesh? Maybe we’ll be extinct before then.
We’re not going to make it to a third millenium AD at this rate folks.

" 'Among all that I spoke with, the feeling was that the Marines are being used as political #pawns, and it strains the perception that Marines are apolitical,' Marine Corps veteran Janessa Goldbeck, who runs the Vet Voice Foundation, told The Guardian. 'Some were concerned that the Marines were being set up for failure. The overall perception was that the situation was nowhere at the level where Marines were necessary.'
" 'The sentiment across the board right now is that deploying military force against our own communities isn’t the kind of national security we signed up for,' added Sarah Streyder of the Secure Families Initiative in an interview with the outlet."
