I don't talk a lot about my work trying to bring wealth taxes to the UK, but it's been a big part of my activism over the last couple of years.
Billionaire wealth already represents a sickness in the global economy. The existence of a trillionaire, Lemon Husk, is an aberration.
He now owns as much wealth as almost half of humanity and this should have democratically elected leaders scrambling. Instead they acquiesce to people like this at the cost of safe societies. This is particularly relevant right now in the UK as we look at the rise of Restore.
Extreme wealth buys media, democracy, economies and corrupts society. We must rebalance this wealth and power. We can start by taxing the super rich.
