When nazis organize as though borders don't actually matter:
Members of Canada's biggest white nationalist group trained this spring with U.S. counterparts south of the border and met with the founder of a global movement of fascist fight clubs, a CBC visual investigation has found.
One expert called it a "very significant" signal of closer co-ordination between white supremacist groups on both sides of the border.
A Telegram post with blurred faces shows Second Sons Canada members posing with an individual CBC identified as Robert Rundo, an American neo-Nazi who founded the "active club" movement. Other posts show them training and meeting with active club groups in Texas and South Carolina in late March.
"It's very significant that we're seeing Canadians travel across the border," said Steven Rai, senior research manager at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a U.K.-based think-tank dedicated to studying authoritarianism, hate and extremism.

In the wake of last week's indictment of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), there have been a number of public reactions from prominent far-right actors across a pretty broad spectrum. I've written up a relatively short summary of some of those responses.
The short version is that the underlying assumption that they all share -- and that the indictment validates -- is that, on one hand, there is no real threat from the far right, racism and white supremacy aren't real, and political violence only ever comes from the left; on the other hand, groups like the SPLC and others on the liberal-left spectrum are committed to ratcheting up fear of the far right for their own political and financial benefit.
That theory is just fine for the people who are the most detached from consensus reality (people like Alex Jones and Laura Loomer), because they've largely been committed to the same argument for a long time. For them, groups like Patriot Front can only ever exist as "fed ops" that don't actually involve people who really believe what they say.
However, it doesn't sit as well with the self-identified white nationalists and other neo-fascists, who basically feel emasculated by the implication that their thoughts and actions are only ever allowed to exist at the discretion of liberal and left-wing entities.

Corey Noel Scott of Oklahoma testified during a court martial in 2019 that he himself killed an unarmed captive who had been stabbed, without provocation, by his platoon leader while they were stationed in Iraq. That testimony seems to have played a big part in getting the platoon leader acquitted of murder charges.
The trial happened during Trump's first term, and then-Fox "News" host Pete Hegseth personally intervened on behalf of the defendant in that case (a defendant who had openly bragged about actually stabbing the victim in text messages).

Patriot Front/Active Club chud and mixed martial arts fighter Ian Michael Elliott was hired to work on “crisis relief missions” for Knight Division Tactical (KDT) for the US Department of Agriculture (DOA).
KDT is run by right-wing Orthodox Christians who seem committed to evangelizing the company's own contractors and others they come into contact with. Lucky for Elliott, he's already Orthodox, so no worries!
DOA gave KDT a $1.8m in contracts in 2024 and $2.1m in 2025.

The folks at Decoherence Media have unmasked 32-year-old neo-nazi Jacob Daniel Jones of Olathe, Kansas, leader of the Kansas-based Heartland Active Club and a member of Patriot Front.
For the unfamiliar, active clubs are a decentralized network of neo-nazi recruitment groups (most of them are fronts for either Patriot Front or the Hammerskins) that focus on things like mixed martial arts training and working out amid a constant barrage of antisemitism, racism, xenophobia, and misogyny.
Jones has been involved in neo-nazi/white nationalist circles since at least 2019, given that that's the year he left the now-defunct preppy nazi org Identity Evropa after Unicorn Riot released that group's internal discussion logs. So he's not exactly a kid who was accidentally caught up in this and is still "figuring things out." He's long since figured it out, and he's opted for being a nazi.

In one sense, the existence of "far-right influences among Project 2025 applicants" might be the most obvious thing I've ever posted on social media.
On the other hand, the details are pretty interesting. For all the managerial ineptitude of the Trump administration, the continuity between it and leaders in both the intellectual and on-the-ground brawler contingents of far-right activism in the US is striking. Some of the people mentioned here cite Carl Schmitt (albeit in the most superficial way possible), use jargon like "Heritage Americans," and talk about a left-wing "all out war" on the right, thereby justifying all-out reciprocity.
Others point to the influence Jared Taylor has had on their thinking. Taylor (I like to call him "Nazi Thurston Howell," but that's just me) is best known as the leading figure behind the American Renaissance website and the annual white nationalist conference by the same name, but he has also been a spokesman for the Council of Conservative Citizens, in which capacity he helped inspire the 2015 white supremacist mass shooting in a Black church in Charleston, South Carolina, which left nine people dead. Taylor has also more recently been openly cavorting with members of Patriot Front as well as "active club" founder Rob Rundo.
This article doesn't delve too deeply into it, but it also hints at reaffirming antisemitism as a (maybe "the") major fault line within the US far right today. Several of the people mentioned here are at least very comfortable with some pretty deeply antisemitic ideas. However Taylor, for instance, says he opposes antisemitism and has been very open to the ideas and participation of far-right Jews in white nationalist spaces, and members of the Heritage Foundation have clearly taken a "philo-semitic" position in a variety of areas.
Anyways, like I said, nothing earth-shattering or all that surprising here, but I do think it's important to keep tabs on the details of just what kind of "leadership" we're all being subjected to. Worth reading.

Last year, our group received anonymous email tips about a neo-Nazi who we had only known by his online alias, “Hunt’wa N’wah.” (Initially, he used “Huntwa N’wah” without the first apostrophe.) One email we received provided an actual name for “Hunt’wa,” which we worked to verify. “Hunt’wa” is David Isaac Hamilton (DOB 8/24/2005). Hamilton is affiliated with the neo-Nazi cult of “Aryanity” as well as Patriot Front, a racist and fascist organization that operates nationally. Hamilton now goes by “Hunter” online. Although he is from Georgia, he may how be spending time in Tennessee.

A neo-Nazi fight club that secretly infiltrated a Tennessee martial arts school where young children train has been banned from the facility, after an inquiry by the Guardian.
Last month, the South Central Tennessee Active Club published video footage on the messaging app Telegram showing its members participating in combat training at Shelbyville BJJ Academy, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in Shelbyville, Tennessee, that offers classes to students as young as three years old.
The group is part of the wider Active Club network, which consists of dozens of decentralized cells across the US and abroad that use combat sports to lure people into white nationalist and neo-Nazi causes.
