I've finally been able to start catching up on the literature regarding the #Epidemiology, #immunology, and #pathophysiology of #LongCovid and #PASC. There's a lot to wade through (of variable scope and quality). I'm intrigued by connections to #mecfs and post-acute sequelae of #SARS (CoV-1), which seem to be serving as useful analogs to some extent.
I'm also appreciating how little #immunology we learn in typical EPI courses, and how important making up for that will be in my Ph.D. training.

I have chronic health issues (#ChronicPain #dysautonomia #MCAS) & was diagnosed with PDD-NOS (w/ #autistic features) as an adult. My daughter has #Celiac & oral #allergy syndrome.
