  1. Our #pastclim paper is now officially out in an
    issue of Ecography!

We made #paleoclimate easily available, what are you waiting to use it for your project? 😉

If you wonder where to start, here you find all the info you need

  2. If you are in #Cambridge tomorrow, I will be at the #Archaeology Department to talk about

"Integrating #paleoclimate into the study of the past"

I will also be presenting #pastclim v. 1.1, our #Rpackage to extract and manipulate past #climate data:

  3. #paleoclimate can be a great resource for studies in #archaeology, #genetics/#genomics, #ancientDNA, #conservation, #ecology, #evolution, #anthropology and even #linguistics. #pastclim allows including it easily in existing analyses and pipelines.

Here is the preprint describing version 1.0 but stay tuned for an updated manuscript hopefully out soon! biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/20

Please, for the version 1.1.0 refer to the material in evolecolgroup.github.io/pastcl or github.com/EvolEcolGroup/pastc

  4. If you work with #paleoclimate, you will be happy to see that #pastclim 1.1 is now out!

We have many new functions, now summarised in a #cheatsheet

We also explain how to work with custom #paleoclimatic data

(but if you do, please consider making them available to others, as explained in this vignette)
