  1. Has Evgeny #Lebedev, owner of the Independent, who was made a life peer by his mate Boris Johnson, fallen out completely with the latter?

It seems his paper had decisively concluded there is no way back for Johnson.

While I heartily agree, I’m somewhat surprised to be reading it here.

But every fool can outlast their usefulness for oligarchs I guess…take note Farage.

  2. We rightly criticised Boris for breaking the #Covid rules his government set with the #Partygate scandal…and yet when it comes to equality in employment, no one calls out the government of the day. Why is it that?

Why is the current political narrative of rolling back #diversity in #employment just accepted, as if somehow we’ve already gone too far…when in actual fact we’ve yet to realise the legal standards set in the 70’s?

  3. #LAWildfires:

    I smell a rat somewhere! 🤨 😠

The #farright uses people's inculcated 'biases'; LYING abt local/state govt officials bc of identity/identities.

IMO, I'd urge everyone to be on the watch for #corporatemedia idiots who pseudolib-wash far right narratives and dogwhistle bigoted bullshit.

A mayor giving $$ to pigs 🐷 🐷 :acab: & cutting money to the #LAFD is a bad decision. There are many knobhead politicians from all identities all over the world who chummy-up to pigs 🐷.

Also #fossilfuel, #climatechange #capitalism collectively play a role (see #DemocracyNow last week about LA fires).

So many knobs to choose from but here's one: #Partygate during the #COVID crisis. Last I checked, #BoorishJohnson was not from a marginalised group.

So, the 'rat' , to me, is the #rightwing/#extremeright repeating their bigotry over and over, hoping to have an effect on the psyche of the public which they hope result in support for #racist #sexist & #antiLGBTQIAplus far right policies, laws, etc.

It's the right who kvetched abt taxes, immigrants & being 'replaced', 'welfare queens', etc. which brainwashed voters (of various backgrounds).

  4. The #partygate plot: how Cummings orchestrated #BorisJohnson’s downfall The spurned special adviser constructed an elaborate plan to force the prime minister out of No 10 by getting him to lie over lockdown parties thetimes.com/article/0a7a9397-

  5. Kemi says Partygate was over inflated. Yeah. My step daughter had to postpone her wedding for lockdown. By the time we could go ahead, her mother was dead. The most important person in her life. Fury barely scratches the surface. #PartyGate #Conservatives

  6. '"I was wrong to apologise for #partygate" said the proven liar #Johnson in his narcissistic biography

    Xx

  7. @ChrisMayLA6
    Exactly!

And politicians should be held to a high standard, particularly when the corruption involves public duties (like calling an election). It's #Partygate all over again

Deeply sad to see the Met turning a blind eye to those in power... Again.

  8. And there is another #Tory...drip drip. (this is like #partygate)

  9. Of course, Corbyn would have been a better PM than Johnson. Johnson was a disaster whose unplaying of Covid caused tens of thousands to die; whose hard #Brexit decimated trade and growth and whose #Partygate excesses destroyed credibility. Food banks, homelessness and the state of the #NHS were all made much worse by Johnson.

As they say, elect a clown, get a circus. #ToriesUnfitToGovern

  10. That will really help the #Tories! The Telegraph may have forgotten about his parties while the rest of us couldn't see our loves ones during #Covid #partygate

Plus those who live with an empty seat at the table because of #Johnson may not welcome a letter from the #fraud that he is.

So I would imagine many will tell him & the #Tories to shove the letter where the sun don't shine!
