Not actually an Xmas dinner disaster but rather part of yesterday's efforts in home brewing.
As well as the carrot wine shown, we also made a parsnip wine.
In the spirit of experimentation, various brown sugars were used in varying proportions across the batches (2× carrot, 1× parsnip) to see how we like the resulting brews and inform future batches.#homebrew #homebrewing #carrot #carrotwine #parsnip #parsnipwine

A successful afternoon of wine making: 1 demijohn of carrot from May safely in bottles and 1 bucket of carrot and 1 of parsnip moved off the lees into demijohns to finish fermenting for a few months.
