My previous header photo - a lovely summer view of the North Saskatchewan river valley - was a little too green and leafy for this time of year. And it's too early for a snow picture. I just moved my offices into East Block, the oldest building on Parliament Hill - so here is a dusk-time photo of the great grey neo-Gothic delight, lit up against the night sky. (My new offices are on the ground floor, facing the main lawn, which, this time of year, is filled with either Canada geese or political protestors, and sometimes both.) #cdnpoli #Ottawa #yow #ParliamentHill #SenateofCanada

According to Wikipedia, #ParliamentHill is "an area of open parkland in the south-east corner of Hampstead Heath in north-west London. The hill, which is 98 metres (322 ft) high, is notable for its views of the capital's skyline."
