"China’s Massive Stealth Flying Wings Spotted Together At Secretive Test Base
Testing of China's very large flying-wing drones appears to be ramping up, along with one unmanned fighter-like design.
Satellite imagery has emerged showing China’s two massive stealthy flying-wing high-altitude, long-endurance (HALE) unmanned aircraft at its secretive test base near Malan. TWZ first identified both of the previously unseen aircraft last year in Planet Labs archived imagery of the airfield, which is known to be on the leading edge of the PLA’s unmanned combat aircraft development efforts. However, this is the first time both have been captured outside their hangars simultaneously, or on the main apron at all. Overall, the image, dated March 26th, 2026, underscores the major uptick of very advanced drone testing activity at the installation.

Regarding the damaged CD-RW: it’s worth noting that optical media is a fixed size and it’s often overly complex to write multi-session discs. So if you have 500mb to backup onto a 650mb disc, you can fill the remaining 150mb with redundant #parity data. On linux, the “par2” tool can work out how best to uniformly generate redundancy data. Then if the data suffers corruption due to scratches, there’s a good chance of being able to recover using the parity data. -

There are 100 cards with integers from 1 to 100. You have three possible scenarios: you pick 18, 19, or 20 cards at random. For each scenario, you need to estimate the probability that the sum of the cards is even. You do not need to do the exact calculation; you just need to say whether the probability is less than, equal to, or more than 1/2.

Finally biting the bullet and setting up an #UnRAID #Linux box to run my #Data #Storage array.

I was able to make all of my data (by dismantling my duplication in #StableBit #DrivePool) fit on one 10 TB drive, and moved my 12 TB, (my other) 10 TB, and 6 TB (not a #NAS level #HardDrive #HDD #SSD) to my new harddrive enclosure and am currently building #Parity on the 12TB.

Once I move everything over to the new setup from my old Gaming #PC (what was holding/running the storage and #Plex setup prior), I am going to install #Kubuntu or #Mint onto it with #Nix to run Plex and such. -
