kinda important to state this here but i'm not anti-paraphile— *within reason*. it's kind of silly to be anti a mental disorder, not like they can control it 😭 i myself struggle with disordered attraction due to extensive sexual trauma, it isn't inherently an evil thing. what i am anti is ABUSE. what i am anti is CONTACT. what i am PRO is THERAPY! the real issue imo is when people start building communities online surrounding their paraphilias which will Always attract pro- and neutral-contact crowds...

if you do have a paraphilia and cope with it through fantasy/are getting help with it through therapy, you're safe here. you're not inherently a monster so long as you *DON'T* hurt non-consenting parties. i wouldn't call myself... pro-paraphilia, just pro-therapy and safe expression. i just think it's dumb to turn a sex disorder into a pro vs. anti debate ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
