We need to talk seriously about #genAi and #Time. It *appears* that tools like ChatGPT and Copilot complete tasks *much quicker* than humans, thereby offering increased #Efficiency
But the way they do this is by breaking the tasks into millions of simpler subtasks which can run simultaneously i.e. #ParallelDistributedProcessing
If it completed those tasks serially, it would likely take longer than a human. And takes many times as much of our finite planetary resources. It's a trick, an #Illusion
