The six-year-old got a knife. Carbon steel with a rounded tip, wood handle. The sheath isn't great though, no way to hang the knife on your pants. So I tied some paracord around the handle so you can use a carabiner to attach the knife to pants. The ending could be done better next time. #paracord #knots

With the #CherokeeSeedlings starting to gain some height & as they are in the same tub as my larger #tomato plant, I added another #Temu round #trellis thingy.

I tied them together for more stability, using some #paracord. #gardening

We just spent an hour outside #gardening.

It’s good weather for it today too. 🌞

#Amazon delivered the spool of #paracord I ordered yesterday, so I used some of my good tent pegs to anchor the #tomato #trellis/cages that were getting moved about a lot in the high winds yesterday.

My paracord is pegged into the ground on either side of the tubs the tomatoes are in, & run through the lowest tier of the trellises.

They straightened up nicely too. Fingers crossed this will fix things.👨‍🌾🪏

Winds this morning are buffeting the house. ☹️

My newly installed #trellis/cages for the #tomatoes are getting moved about by the wind despite them being down in 20-30 cm’s of potting mix.

Tried to find my #paracord to #anchor them - couldn’t find it.

I did a bad thing. I ordered more paracord - from #Amazon. I’m still a Prime member, so delivery by tomorrow. I feel guilty using Amazon. #gardening

Made a bracelet that easily deploys 10 yards of kevlar cord (1.5 mm, 300 lbs tensile strength). I've shared a Paracord version before, but kevlar is thinner, stronger, and can be used as a friction saw!

My #zowie EC1-B mouse started stuttering last night... (Used to play #csgo with it.) I think the cable has had its time. So I took it apart, removed the old cable and placed an order for a paracord type replacement. It's the first time I opened up a mouse; hope I have the right diagnosis! Gonna reassemble it when the new cable arrives... Luckily, I have a Kensington Orbit #trackball to use in the meantime!

Samurai would carry hayanawa "fast rope" in their sleeve in order to tie up prisoners when making arrests. Part of the jujutsu curriculum is hojojutsu: the art of tying up an opponent even if they are resisting. I made these hayanawa bracelets based on YouTuber MeZillch's videos with my own modifications. 6 yards of 95 Paracord deployable with a single tug. A piece of old #poolNoodle can be cut to shape and size to fit over the prongs of a non-folding #USBcharger (or #laptop #powerCable etc).
Once you have the shape and size how you like, you can push the prongs into the foam (not all the way through) and it's set.
If you want it more securely on, add a #rubberBand, #hairTie, #bracelet, piece of #paracord, or such.

You'll protect yourself from the prongs and your prongs from your self :)
